The guy with the uncompromising vision behind George & Ivy’s design. Having worked for (we won’t disclose how many) years in the hair industry, it became clear that he wanted to create a low tox space that breaks the mould of the ‘typical’ salon design. Having worked for, or trained with, some of the best such as Toni & Guy, Sassoons and Schorem barbers of Rotterdam. You’ll see him creating shapes in his natural habitat, the window seat of George & Ivy.

Lover of curly hair, shag’s, mullets, cute choppy bob’s yet will master a sharp wedge when given the right head of hair. 15 years in the industry and constantly striving to get better and evolve her style of cutting hair. Cat loves seamless colour that flows with someones personality and lifestyle.

Qualified in Manchester and with experience across a variety of salons in both the UK and Australia, I bring a creative, shape-focused approach to hair. I love working with texture — whether it’s enhancing waves and curls or crafting strong, sharp edges — using dry cutting to tailor each look to the individual. From modern shags to short, punchy cuts, I’m all about creating hair that moves and feels effortless, with the perfect colour to tie it all together.

Perfectionist/ master blow-drier/ great at his craft:
Having completed his apprenticeship in Perth, Adam headed straight for London’s high street, where he worked as a stylist for Charles Worthington, there is nothing that he cant do. master of colour, lover of cutting all lengths and texture of hair. You'll be so looking forward to getting back in his chair.

Having grown up here in Perth, Michelle spent three years in New York as an editorial stylist before moving to London in 2018 becoming a creative director. With years of experience in the salon and the catwalk under her belt, Michelle is bringing her expertise and creative flair to George & Ivy’s floor. Specialising in blonde highlighting, and creating personalised, stylish haircuts.

This amazingly confident hairdresser is loaded with knowledge and education, you couldn’t be in safer hands with Breeana.

Tia is a promising second-year apprentice hairdresser who has quickly developed strong technical skills and a keen eye for style. Known for their attention to detail, positive attitude, and eagerness to learn. With a growing confidence client consultations.

Meet Alison, an exceptional hairdresser renowned for their passion for curly textured hair. With years of not only experience but acurious passion within the industry, Alison has a unique ability to bring out the best in your hair and can tackle challenging hair textures with ease. Her expertise lies not just in cutting and styling, but in understanding the individuality of each client's hair type, allowing them to create customised looks that highlight natural beauty. Whether it's a bold colour transformation or mastering the perfect curl.

Having qualified in London, I’m all about effortless, shaggy cuts, choppy pixies and laid-back layers that feel as good as they look. I love being able to switch up someone’s style and help them walk out feeling confident and refreshed. I’ve worked in salons across London, Melbourne and Perth, bringing a mix of big-city edge and coastal ease to my work. Outside the salon, I spend my time surfing, travelling, or playing music—always chasing a good rhythm.
